What Not To Do If You Are An Entrepreneur

Let’s be honest!! Being an entrepreneur can be a BIG OLE HEAD TRIP!!!

One day you just know you are gonna be a millionaire…the next day you think you are completely incapable! Then the very next day you get a big client…then the cycle starts all over again.

Does this sound like you? Well, if it does, then we can only blame one person…OURSELVES!!!


Now, do NOT feel bad! We all do it, the important thing is that we learn how take back our negative thoughts!

Let’s be aware of when we are lying to ourselves. Seriously, our own brains will say negative things and lie to ourselves!!

In This article from the New York Post by Nanice Ellise she states,”If you want to change your life, you must change your thinking. If you wait for your life to change, in order to change your thinking, you will be thinking negative thoughts forever. Whether you are aware of it or not, your thoughts create your reality.”

Our thoughts CREATE our reality!! Whaaaaaat? Well, isn’t that just a slap in the face!!!

You know what I call this… Self-Sabotage!! I created a little video about it…

You can also self-sabotage yourself by a little thing we like to call PROCRASTINATION!! Sometimes procrastinating means it NEVER gets done!! Stop starting “tomorrow”….because the chances are you may not do it tomorrow either! Tomorrow is a fantasy land! LOL!

-Go shopping in your mind
-Keep positive company
-Physically throw them away
-Have a cup of Tea
-Reframe your situation

Sooooo, starting tomorrow….JK!! Starting right NOW…no more negative thoughts…and no more procrastination!!

I woke up this morning and started working…almost immediate as soon as something didn’t go my way, I started having these negative thoughts like, “You can’t do this, Nicole” or “You might as well give up” and my favorite “This isn’t what you’re good at”. Why are our brains so mean to us? Why are we so mean to ourselves. Thankfully, I knew that my thoughts become reality, so I changed the conversation. But I had to be proactive about it. I had to start calling out my own thoughts. I thought to myself, “Nope, that’s not true”and I immediately changed the narrative.

You guys, this change isn’t gonna change isn’t gonna happen over night, we are gonna have to fight for positive thoughts. Fight for yourself!!! Start with every negative little thought.

You can do this, you WILL do this!
